Mariano Caiano, cantautore e percussionista, nasce a Napoli il 21 Febbraio del 1967. Nel corso degli anni ha collaborato -sia in studio che nei live- con artisti di fama nazionale ed internazionale come Alan Sorrenti, Gianni Bella, Tony Esposito, 99 Posse, Articolo 31, Cafè Latino, Kingston Club, Poli Opposti, Nino Buonocore, Daniele Sepe, Roberto Giangrande, Antonio Onorato, Gigi Finizio, Valentina Stella, Gianni Conte, Monica Sarnelli, Nello Daniele, Ralph P, Capone & BungtBangt, The Wailers (storica band di Bob Marley), Junior V, Wiston Francis, Z-Star, Canio Loguercio, Pietro Cirillo e Officine Popolari Lucane, Mirko Gisonte e tanti altri ancora. Per anni ha tenuto, arricchendo il proprio bagaglio umano e professionale, laboratori di percussioni per i giovani ospiti dell’Istituto Penale Minorile di Nisida.  Dal 2000 è una delle tre voci soliste de L’Orchestra Italiana di Renzo Arbore. Dopo aver pubblicato in ambito reggae -con lo pseudonimo di Hobo- un album per la Carosello Records e vari singoli contenuti in compilation per varie majors ed etichette indipendenti, Mariano decide di “riappropriarsi” delle sue radici partenopee, intraprendendo un percorso artistico solista, scrivendo testi in lingua napoletana, spaziando dal reggae al nu tango, dallo ska al latin, dal rock al funk fino ad arrivare all’arabian pop: in sintesi l’artista, attraverso i vari generi musicali, racchiude nei “disegni” di un diario sonoro, i suoi innumerevoli viaggi da un angolo all’altro del mondo.
Nel 2017 pubblica il suo primo EP “Stamm’ accussì” interamente autoprodotto e il video singolo del brano “Mama Cuba”.
A maggio del 2018 pubblica il nuovo singolo “Ricciulè”.

Mariano Caiano, songwriter and percussionists, was born in Naples on February 21, 1967. Over the years he has performed and cooperated, both in studio and on the stage, with internationally renowned artists such as Gianni Bella, Tony Esposito, 99 Posse, Articolo 31, Cafè Latino, Kingston Club, Poli Opposti, Nino Buonocore, Daniele Sepe, Roberto Giangrande, Antonio Onorato, Gigi Finizio, Valentina Stella, Gianni Conte, Monica Sarnelli, Nello Daniele, Ralph P, Capone & BungBangt, The Wailers (the legendary band of Bob Marley), Junior V, Wiston Francis, Z-Star, Canio Loguercio, Pietro Cirillo e Officine Popolari Lucane, Mirko Gisonte and others. For years he held courses of percussions for the young guests of the juvenile penal institution of Nisida, an experience that has humanly enriched him and professionally. Beginning from the year 2000 he has been one of the three solo voices of the Orchestra Italiana of Renzo Arbore. He also published – with the pseudonym Hobo – an album of reggae music with Carosello Records, and some singles included in a variety of compilations released for majors and independent labels. After these experiences, Mariano has decided to go back to his Neapolitan origins, and has started a new artistic career as soloist, writing lyrics in Neapolitan language, and composing works that range from reggae to nu tango, from ska to latin, from rock to funk and finally to arabian pop: in such a way, the artist has created a kind of sonorous journal, whose pages contain drawings of all his many trips around the world. In 2017 he published his first EP “Stamm’ accussì“, fully self-released, and the video of the song “Mama Cuba”. In May 2018 he publishes his new single “Ricciulè“.
